Sniper Training

Course Summary:

This course is designed for officers with minimal experience, looking to gain the fundamental skills to be an effective police sniper, as well as officer who already hold sniper responsibilities with their agency and wish to expand on their knowledge base. This course will prepare the law enforcement sniper for critical incidents, as well as teach them the skills necessary for surveillance operations.

The very nature of the Law Enforcement Sniper position requires discipline and a high level of fitness. Students attending this course should be physically fit and understand that some range exercises will be physically demanding. Successful last day qualification is required for Certification of Course Completion. Students who can not successfully qualify will receive a Certificate of Attendance.

Over-View of Sniper Operations Understanding Ballistics Fundamentals of Rifle Marksmanship Necessary Support Equipment Weapon System Maintenance Camouflage/ Concealment	Urban Sniper Operations Scouting / Surveillance / Stalking Low-Light and No-Light Shooting Engagement of Moving Targets Extensive Range Exercises and Instruction

Course Summary:

This course is designed to continue to build on the knowledge, skills and tactics that students developed in our Police Sniper / Observer I Course. During this course, students will review the topics that are covered in the basic course, but quickly move into advanced skills that will additionally challenge the officers. Range exercises will be more intense and a higher level of marksmanship will be required for successful graduation of this course. Proof of a Basic Sniper Course is required for attendance to Forced Entry’s Police Sniper / Observer II Course.
