Workshop Introduction:
Restricted to Sworn/ Commissioned Law Enforcement Officers
and Active Military Personnel
This interactive workshop was created by and for operational breachers. Its main objective is to provide tactical operators with the ability to interact and learn from their fellow operators. The workshop affords participants the opportunity to physically interact and become involved in hands-on training. Furthermore, it will expose students to various breaching tactics and methods of operation currently in use by various agencies/ units nationwide.
The workshop will concentrate primarily on the subject of Tactical Explosive Breaching but will also include practical training modules in the fields of mechanical, ballistic, and exothermic breaching. In each module, participants will be provided with instruction and will then perform various tasks and tactics using the specific tool and/ or method of breaching presented.
Due to the operational nature of the workshop, all classes will be taught exclusively by active law enforcement officers and military personnel who possess current real-world operational experience in their respective breaching fields. |
|
|
|
|
Training Objectives:
- Provide the most up-to-date explosive, mechanical, ballistic, thermal, and hydraulic breaching training to officers and military personnel.
- Provide training material, dept. policies, tactics, and methods of operation which are derived from Law Enforcement and Military operational experience.
- Expose experienced operators to various operational explosive breaching programs from around the US.
- Create the basis for professional networking between explosive breachers and their counterparts across the nation.
- Concentrate on providing hands-on training to all participants by nearly eliminating all classroom/lecture base training.
- Elevate the overall operational capabilities of the US explosive breaching community.
|
|
How the training works:
Upon registration, participants will be provided with a list of 10 separate training modules covering various aspects of explosive, mechanical, ballistic, and exothermic breaching. Modules will be scheduled and repeated throughout the workshop based on participant interest and availability of targets. Modules will be taught at least twice throughout the 4 day workshop.
Participants will choose their desired classes and will later be slotted to attend the training on scheduled times/ days. Participants will be encouraged to attend as many classes as they can fit into their daily schedule. |

Course Introduction:
This Explosive Breaching course is geared toward personnel who wish to gain the knowledge and expertise necessary to build an Explosive Breaching Program for their agency, or to expand upon an existing one. The training is specially designed to teach participants the necessary skills required to become successful operational breachers and instill within them the knowledge and physical capabilities to deploy these skills in real-world situations.
The 6 day hands-on training will take students from the basic/ beginning level of explosive breaching and gradually progress them into intermediate materials. A great emphasis is given to the real-life application of this breaching method under various tactical conditions. Students will be taught, drilled, and tested in all aspects of explosive breaching to include: charge calculation, charge construction, target analysis, proper deployment, tactical considerations, and various issues pertaining to liability. |

Course Summary:
This course is simply a customized version of our existing curriculums. Although Forced Entry Tactical Training has always specialized in Explosive Entry training geared toward Law Enforcement SWAT and EOD personnel, we have seen an increasing interest from our Military Units. With this course, Forced Entry will speak directly with Unit leadership to determine what your exact needs are. From here we will adjust both classroom and range activities to make sure that the material being taught will be a benefit to your specific operational needs. These courses will not be open to Law Enforcement personnel and will only be offered and sold as Closed Courses. |
