  Explosive Breaching Characterization Handbook   Explosive Breaching Characterization Handbook This handbook was a government project, headed by the Technical Support Working Group (TSWG), the National Tactical Officers Association and Applied Research Associates Inc. The material in this book was provided by members of the explosive breaching community. Forced Entry is proud to have provided our entire 6-day Explosive Breaching cirricullum to this project. Contributing members are as follows: Gavin Vesp –Forced Entry Tactical Training Brad Voyles – Forced Entry Tactcal Training Keith Frakes – Sandia National Laboratories Steve Mattoon – National Security Associates Alan Brosnan – Tactical Explosive Entry School Chuck O’Connor – North Vector Inc. Rus Hart – Rapid Entry Systems Technology This book is tentatively going to be distributed by the National Tactical Officers Association.   Hostage Rescue Symposium Las Vegas, Nevada   Forced Entry Tactical Training will be speaking at this years Hostage Rescue Symposium which is being put on by Invictus Tactical Company, LLC. Details can be found at www.hrtwest.com Forced Entry will be lecturing on the topic of Explosive Breaching for Law Enforcement Hostage Rescue Operations.   NTOA/FETT FREE Grant Course Tulsa, Oklahoma   Forced Entry Tactical Training, continues to build a strong relationship with the National Tactical Officers Association. 2008 will be the 2nd year that Forced Entry Tactical Training will be running an entire 6-day Tactical Explosive Breaching Course, 100% FREE in support of the National Tactical Officers Association’s / Grant Program. This course is going to allow 2 Officers from 9 agencies around the country to receive these six days of training FREE. The agencies can apply by filling out a Grant Proposal on the NTOA website at www.ntoa.org. This event was hosted by the Murray Police Department SWAT Team in Murray, Utah in 2007 and was a huge success. We look forward to the 2008 course when we can again assist the NTOA in giving back to the tactical community, which has completely embraced Forced Entry Tactical Training, since our arrival into the training industry in 2004. We look forward to seeing all of you grant winners in August!!!!

  National Tactical Officers Association Tactical Operations Conference and Vendor Show 2008 Albuquerque, New Mexico   Forced Entry Tactical Training will be in attendance at the Annual NTOA Tactical Operations Conference and Vendor Show. Gavin Vesp is scheduled to speak for a two hour block on Sunday September 14th and Monday September 15th.
