The 2007 International Breachers Symposium was a huge success. The National Tactical Officers Association and Olive Security ( TEES) did an outstanding job and attendance was at an all time high, with approximately 500 attendees.
The Lectures and Vendor Show was held at the Downtown Memphis Marriot with all range demonstrations being conducted at Alan Brosnans old facility (TEES), now remodeled into the 700 acre Olive Security Training Facility.
Forced Entry Tactical Training was represented by Owner / Director of Training - Gavin Vesp and Chief Instructor - Brad Voyles. Forced Entry had the opportunity to demonstrate the Gryphon Entry Frame on a 6” reinforced concrete wall. This demonstration was led by Brad Voyles and allowed attendees to see the efficiency in which this Entry Frames produced by Pete Cornell (Owner Gryphon Engineering / Canada – FETT US Distributor) breaches through heavy wall targets.
This year also brought the release of the National Breachers Handbook, produced by Brad Lauritsen with Applied Research Associates. The information supplied in this book was contributed to by Forced Entry Tactical Training and other major breaching schools . (Book cover picture from FETT Course – Albany N.Y. Forced Entry Tactical Training would like to thank NTOA, Olive Security, NSA and REST Corp, for putting together a fantastic event. We look forward to seeing everyone at the next Symposium. |
